Documentum 6.6 Fixed Bug List

Whenever Documentum releases new versions of their software, they promise a list of fixed bugs contained in the release within 2 weeks (see product Release Notes).  Well, they rarely (ever?) make this deadline, but they do eventually post the Fixed Bug Lists.  On Aug 30, 2010 (6.6 was released June 14, 2010), Documentum did finally post the Fixed Bug Lists to PowerLink for the major components of the 6.6 release.  It is interesting to look through these and see what was broken (that you didn’t even know about), and what has been fixed (hopefully the bugs you submitted are included in the list).  It is also interesting to note that the bugs reported in the FBL are not always the same ones reported in the product Release Notes.  Check them out.

About Scott
I have been implementing Documentum solutions since 1997. In 2005, I published a book about developing Documentum solutions for the Documentum Desktop Client (ISBN 0595339689). In 2010, I began this blog as a record of interesting and (hopefully) helpful bits of information related to Documentum, and as a creative outlet.
