XACML – Access Control Policies in XML

I just ran across this on the EDN and thought I would share it; it’s pretty cool.  I hope EMC embraces XACML for creation, management and reuse of access control policies in Documentum.

XACML is an XML language for specifying security policies.  XACML allows you to define security policies in a technology neutral way so that they can be reused across the enterprise. https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-7314

About Scott
I have been implementing Documentum solutions since 1997. In 2005, I published a book about developing Documentum solutions for the Documentum Desktop Client (ISBN 0595339689). In 2010, I began this blog as a record of interesting and (hopefully) helpful bits of information related to Documentum, and as a creative outlet.
